The Savoy is available for hire. Dates and times are dependent on the staging of other events. As the theatre is programmed up to eighteen months ahead in some cases, as much notice as possible is needed. We will however do our best to accommodate all enquiries.
In particular we offer a facility for private parties. For a reasonable fee you can hire the entire theatre and show the film of your choice. We are also happy to quote party rates for drinks, popcorn, ice cream etc. And remember parties can be for any age group for any occasion!
We can offer hire facilities for schools and colleges who may wish use the building for either educational or recreational purposes. The theatre is available to promoters to hire for bands and other entertainment. We are happy to talk to local charities about use of the building for their own fundraising purposes.
We welcome enquiries from paranormal investigation groups who regularly hire the Savoy to make contact with spirits who have inhabited the space in years gone by. These have so far included actors, bell boys, usherettes and in one case, a serial killer! All hire enquiries should be referred to the General Manager 01600 772467.
